Summary of position

The Presentation designer is responsible for presentation design supporting the senior management team and the business development effort. The role reports to the Group Marketing Director.

 

You will be heavily involved in designing advanced PowerPoint presentations from scratch using animations, timings and your own creative flair as these will be shown both internally and externally to clients therefore advanced PowerPoint is vital together with Microsoft Word. A keen eye for detail along with high standards of graphics and design are a must. This role is a great opportunity for someone with a great grasp on presentation design packages (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Quark, and Acrobat) to use their expertise whilst simultaneously providing comprehensive support to the Marketing team.

Although the scope and focus of the day to day activities within the role will change dependent on business requirements, the following should be considered the core activities:

 

Key responsibilities

  • Creation of visual assets to be used in presentations and bid responses 
  • Management and maintenance of company presentation material
  • Work closely with marketing and business development teams to assist in the production of bid documents
  • Enhancement of existing presentation assets as required
  • Liaisonwith external agencies where required
  • Develop marketing collateral to articulate Monitise’s products and services across both electronic and paper formats

Skills and Competencies

 

  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of brand and visual identity
  • Successful track record in production of marketing led presentation material  
  • Educated to degree level  
  • Marketing experience within a fast moving competitive environment (FMCG/service/Tech) with both B2C and B2B experience
  • Ability for forge effective working relationships internally and externally with agency contacts
  • A self-managing, self-starter with an enthusiastic and professional approach.
  • Excellent team working, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate, and persuade
